Andrew Richards

Andrew is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has spent the past five years working as a strength and conditioning coach in Prince Edward Island (PEI) while completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). While in PEI, Andrew worked with various clients, from the general population to athletes to injured individuals looking to prioritize rehabilitation and strength maintenance, and everything in between. In addition to his work as a strength and conditioning coach, Andrew was also heavily involved with the varsity sports programs at UPEI, where he was the athletic trainer for the men's and women's soccer teams and was also involved with load management strategizing for the women's basketball team, that went on to compete at nationals that same year.

Andrew has since moved to Toronto, where he is completing his Master of Science degree at York University. His research is centered around exercise recovery, specifically cold-water immersion, and the role cold-water immersion might play regarding being a useful strategy and recovery option for avid exercisers. Andrew believes in a big-picture outlook when it comes to training and coaching. His current research and knowledge of strength and conditioning training will hopefully fill the gaps and allow his clients to exercise and recover more efficiently, allowing them to feel better and perform better all hours of the day.

Andrew's training philosophies are simple; he wants to help people move better and allow them to reach their full physiological potential, whether that be reducing pain incidence, increasing whole-body strength, regaining mobility, etc. Whatever your goals are, Andrew makes them his priorities.

Graeme Gentle

Graeme derives a lot of enjoyment from being able to do things he wants to do, and from first hand knows this comes from his daily investment in his health. Training has always been a part of his life. From a young age he was quite active in competitive sports and really enjoyed it, not because it was good for him but because he found it fun and challenging. As he got older and wiser, he realized the important role training plays in longevity and ultimately the enjoyment he gets out of life. Consistent progressive training (weight/gym training and sports) has not only kept Graeme healthy but has kept him looking & feeling good. One of his reasons for training was to increase sports performance, yours may be to get strong, get fit, lose fat or rehab an injury. No matter the reason, you’ve come here to invest in your health and Graeme is more than happy to help.

Vanessa Orford

Vanessa is a Strength Trainer, Nutrition Coach and the proud owner of VWELLNESS Remote Coaching.

She is deeply passionate about all things training, nutrition and wellness, as well as coaching others to help them live their best lives.

Vanessa started taking training and nutrition seriously in her own life around the age of 25 after a succession of troubling events in her life, starting from scratch with zero gym or nutrition experience—and never looking back.

She loved it so much that she ended up getting certified and becoming a coach herself. She eventually transitioned from working as an employee for various Toronto fitness companies over the years, to starting her very own coaching business at the beginning of the pandemic when people needed coaching more than ever, in March 2022.

Today she is an independent business owner and coach under the name VWELLNESS. She has now trained hundreds of clients over the course of her decade-long career, and has a diverse roster of wonderful clients all from varying backgrounds, walks of life, and skill levels.

If you want to learn proper exercise technique, how to train and eat to fuel your goals, Vanessa is the right coach for you.
